MOFO reclaims National Juniors Title!
Congratulations to MOFO for winning and reclaiming the National Juniors title at CUC 2008 in Calgary this past weekend. MOFO went 8-1 all tourny, including a thrilling 14-13 come-from-behind finals win. This championship marks the 4th time in the last 7 years MOFO has emerged as the top junior team in the country, reinforcing MOFO's dominance as a perennial powerhouse juniors squad.
Congratulations also to the 16 MOFO players/alumni who represented Canada so well at the World Ultimate and Guts Championships recently held in Vancouver. Current and former MOFO players were represented on the Open (Gold), Women's (Bronze), Mixed (Gold), Jr Open (Silver), and Jr Women's teams.
These accolades continue to serve as reminders that Winnipeg's Juniors program is well-established and healthy.
